2018 will be the eighteenth time Macedonia competes in Eurovision. The tiny Balkan republic is one of the most unsuccessful countries in the contest, in fact, the best result for the country is a 12th place in 2006 with Elena Risteska.

This year the country will be represented by one of the most famous Macedonian pop and rock bands the Eye Cue with the song Lost and found.

Composed by the guitar player and vocal Bojan Trajkovski and the lead vocal Marija Ivanovska, the band so far has released two albums and had numerous hits in Macedonia as well in the wider region.

They have won multiple prices, including the first place in the Skopje Festival in 2015, the most prestigious Macedonian festival.
